Someone Like You

I haven't blogged in a few days, I've been super busy!  Monday I left work early but it seriously took me 35 minutes to get home!  On my LONG way home, I realized that I'm not into talking to someone all day long, 24/7!  No, I don't want to text you all day, nor do I want to talk to you while I'm at work.  What do I do all day at work? Oh yea, I work!  Then when I get home from work, I'd like to unwind for a little bit, maybe eat dinner, change my clothes, spend some time with my kitties, read a book, check my email, or not even go home, maybe go out to dinner, or meet a friend for drinks....and while I'm doing any of those things I don't want to be bothered every 2 minutes with a text!  I guess I just don't know how to be a good girlfriend? LOL I don't know!  Well, that was my little rant of the week.  Last night Ollie was so funny, he was running around the basement with all of his fur fluffed, butt curled, and hopping/running sideways.  He was doing this for like an hour, I don't know what got into him but it was too funny!

  On a sad note, I found out that one of our clients at work passed away on Saturday :( She was such a nice lady, only 39 years old!  RIP Christine Meyer...we'll take real good care of Ashley (her beloved dog) when we see her.  Also, my grandma (Donna's mom) is back in the hospital :( After her long haul from her aneursym back in February, she is back in the hospital because they think she may have had a series of mini strokes or seizures, her EEG came back abnormal.  With all of this going on lately, makes me think a lot about my life and the people that are in it.  I don't know what I'd do without some of you, and the ones that aren't part of my life anymore I miss you, but it's your loss, you'll see in the end....maybe one day won't be too late.  This leads me to my new favorite song...it's by Adele.....it's the words of the song that get me.  If you haven't heard it before, take a listen!

I almost forgot to mention that yesterday was my little sisters birthday! She turned 18 years old, I can't believe it! She's all grown up, ok not quite but 18!  Next Friday, I am taking her to Bingo for the first time for her :)
